Abstrakt This document deals with 17th–19th century French compositions and their application to Czech and German organs. The study is based on main characteristics of organ building in the examined countries (France, Czech Republic, Germany) and focuses on identical elements and on alteration of absent elements. Possible solutions, applicable in connection with the the issues discussed, are suggested on the basis of the collected information about certain organ types, as well as of the results of interpretation organ courses (2019) and written experience of leading Czech teachers.
