Abstrakt (Fulltext in Czech available on the CZ version of our website) In this article, I report on my ongoing doctoral research, on the basis of which I should design and then construct a new instrument, an electromechanical accordion intended for live produc¬tion. The first part describes known historical examples of instruments that have a similar way of tone creation and therefore share the principles of their sound recording. In the second part, the reduction of the standard accordion design is discussed with the intention of gaining more space inside the instrument to house the electron¬ics. In the third part, I present the construction of the first prototype of the electromagnetic sensor. Employing my test recordings, I reveal the sound specifics of the chosen solution. In the final part, the ultimate form of the tool is described and I sketch the outline for future research.
