Živá hudba

Abstrakt:
In the essay Dance research: on contemporary methods and approaches the author speculates about the use and labelling of different methodologies in dance research. Considering her own research experience, Lucie Burešová argues the need to combine various theoretical approaches to describe certain cultural phenomena. She offers a brief introduction into the dance analysis, inspired by linguistics and semiotics, being the basis of dance research. She studies its role as the foundation for anthropological, sociological, aesthetical and other theoretical dance research methods and strongly emphasizes the need for their combination in research work.
