Abstrakt (Fulltext in Czech available on the CZ version of our website) The study focuses on mapping of the infrastructure of scientific research organisations in the Czech Republic that are dedicated to dance research, their evaluation and visibility of results. Based on the government’s programme statement, evaluation methodology and the strategy for science communication, it shows the weaknesses of the field of choreology in the Czech Re¬public and argues for its greater popularisation.
