Abstract:
This study is drawn from doctoral dance-anthropological research on rave culture and focuses on three specific dance-movement practices that are inspired by and centered on ecstatic rave events perceived as collective rituals of the contemporary world. Technosomatics, Technodrift and Techno Flow are methodological frameworks created by artists to share their personal experiences with participants. These practices offer innovative ways of using movement and bodily experience as tools for physical and mental health regeneration, deeper self-discovery and the experience of spiritual-collective connection. The study emphasizes the importance of techno music in connection with movement as key mediums facilitating altered states of consciousness that support both individual introspection and collective identity building.
