Stati a studie / Živá hudba 2023/14 / Publikováno 26. 7. 2024

Abstrakt (Fulltext in Czech available on the CZ version of our website) This essay attempts to capture the specifics of this technique, created by Dutch dancer, choreographer and teacher Anouk van Dijk, against the background of other approaches and different views of contemporary dance methods and movement systems. It is based on a combination of practical dance and pedagogical experience, the theoretical background of each method and their contemporary scientific reflection.Specifically, the study focuses on three areas – the origin and support of movement, didactic methods in teaching and the concept of technique and its relation to training practice – which are closely related to the actual bodily creation of movements on the one hand, and to the formation of the dancer's physical skills, psychological attunement and kinesthetic sensitivity on the other. These topics are also the subject of discussions about the focus and content of teaching, the intentions of teaching strategies in 21st century dance pedagogy.
